Be a Super Hero Family
Companions Journeying Together is having a Family Fun Day to celebrate its 30th year and to raise money for its Aunt Mary’s Storybook. Companions is a non-profit organization started 30 years ago by three sisters Jana Minor, Margi Rudnik, and Mary Ramien.
During this afternoon of family entertainment with storytelling, music, face painting, raffles and children’s crafts, we will recognize and celebrate the service of these Founding Mothers. Because of the vision and generosity of these women and the work of Companions, thousands upon thousands of person who are incarcerated have been touched with love; children have received books with messages of love from their parents; mothers and juveniles behind bars have been able to send notes home with the gifts of Mother’s Day packets; hundreds of people who are imprisoned have received mail regularly and lonely men and women who have been isolated from family and friends have received Christmas or birthday cards. Please save the date so you can celebrate this 30 year anniversary with us and honor Jana, Margi, and Mary.
