Aunt Mary’s Storybook, a key program of Companions Journeying Together, works with several correctional facilities throughout Illinois to bridge the emotional distance between children and their incarcerated parents. As we continue to grow, our demand for new children’s books has significantly increased.

We invite you to spearhead a book drive to support Aunt Mary’s Storybook. This initiative offers a unique opportunity for community, corporate, academic, or religious groups to make a meaningful impact. Your contributions will directly benefit children from under resourced backgrounds across Illinois, providing them with a cherished book and a personal audio recording of their parent reading the story, enhancing their emotional connection.

Our book donation guide serves as a great guide for book drive organizers and book donors.

Thanks!
